In 1957, after being watches supplier 40 years, company launched its first brand called RADO. Just five years later, the world's first hard wearing watches -- oval DiaStar was launched, which laid the cornerstone for its success.

 

In 1983, Swiss Rado became one member of SMH group which was established in that time; this group is now renamed as Swatch group, and it is the world's largest watch group.

 

Today, the Swiss Rado watch is one of the most important Swiss watch manufacturer, has 250 formal service centers and international sales network consisting of 8000 points of sale.

 

Design style

 

When other brand still use the general materials such as gold, silver or steel to produce watches, Swiss Rado has chosen advanced materials such as hard metal, sapphire crystal, high-tech ceramic, high-tech lanthanum, or high-tech diamond and so on a series of high-tech materials to manufacture watches. Swiss Rado spent several decades on its high-end technology; today this technology constitutes the core of material technology development.

 

In 1989, Rado first launched a watch covered by high-tech ceramic material. Rado integral ceramic series took the excellent innovation material.
