Casio Watches

Casio is one of three big famous watch brands in Japan. Many years it is known to the world for versatile G-SHOCK watch. That Casio represents the young, fashionable, functional brand image has been deeply in people’s heart. The spirit that Casio consistently advocated science and technology on the "wrist" has also been followed and communicated in China.

 

Casio is a brand producing many products, mainly including: Digital cameras, watches and clocks, electronic dictionary, electronic musical instruments, calculator, label printers, cash registers, projector, handheld terminal device, page printer, office computer, LCD display, WLP commissioned processing, mold and so on

 

Casio history:

 

In April, 1946: founder Kashio Tadao in Tokyo Mitaka officially established “Kashio Seisakujo”.

 

In April, 1960: in Tokyo, Kitatama-gun and Yamato-machi (now Higashi Yamato City) built Tokyo factory (now Tokyo Product Control and Technical Center).

 

In June, 1966: headquarters moved to Kitatama-gun and Yamato-machi (now Higashi Yamato City).

 

In October, 1969: in Yamanashi Nakakoma-gun Tamaho-mura established Kofu factory.

 

In July, 1979: A Casio Hachioji factory was established.

 

In May, 1974: headquarters moved to Tokyo Shinjuku.

 

In November, 1974: launched CASIOTRON electronic watch.

 

In July, 1979: in Tokyo Nishitama-gunn Hamura-machi (now Hamura City) established Hamura Research & Development Center.

 

In February, 1978: established in Taiwan overseas production company -- Casio Taiwan Ltd.

 

In October, 1979: in Yamagata Higashine City established production company -- Yamagata Casio Company limited.

 

In February, 1980: introduced the first watch in combination with computer function - Data Bank series C-80-1.

 

In April, 1983: released the first shockproof watch G-SHOCK (DW-5000C-1A).

 

In February, 1989: introduced the first digital watch has the weather forecast sensor - BM-100WJ-3 (A predecessor before PRO TERK series independent).

 

In January, 1988: headquarters moved to Tokyo Shibuya-ku Hatsudai.
