ORIENT watches


Orient watch is an old Japanese watch brand in the early time having entered Chinese market, because its logo is a trademark of two lions, it is previously called in China as "Shuangshi" brand. In China 1980’s it is the mainstream of the watch brand. Two lions trademark is one part of Orient watch; the left and right sides of trademarks shared two lions. Because early Chinese consumers easily identified “Shuangshi” trademark, or failed to read ORIENT pronunciation, two lions trademark already has entered people’s heart.
Orient watches predecessor can be traced back to "Yoshida clock shop" established in Tokyo's Ueno city in 1901 and “Japan timing factory” founded in 1920 and manufacturing clock. Japan timing factory in 1934 began division of manufacturing watches, and in 1936 it specially set up Japan Hino factory, mainly manufacturing watch. In July 1950, Japan timing factory in Japan Hino city created "Tama timer Limited company” and in 1951 changed the company name into Orient Watch Co., Ltd. officially began selling Orient watches.
In 1996, it successfully developed mechanical watches of more than 40 hours kinetic energy display; it is unique for Japanese watch brand and gets great admiration from watch industry of the whole word.
In 2001, it becomes the Subsidiary company of "Seiko Epson Corporation".
In 2003, with the accuracy ± 5 seconds of "Orient Star Royal Sterling SiLVer”, Orient watches won "design award" of "standard category” in the "2003 annual watch design competition";
In 2004 in the global it issued 300 limited edition flagship product watches - high precision mechanical watch with world time and energy show.
In recent years, oriental watches comply with fashion trend, and develop many new products, many styles, performance, price is also corresponding reasonable, there are multifunction watches selling one thousand.
